Title of Position: Local Governance Admin and finance Consultant
Duration of the assignment: 3 months with possibility of extension

Supervisor: Director General of the Ministry of Interior
The Ministry of Interior seeks the services of Administration and Finance Consultant to support the ministry to implement programmes in
Hirshabelle State of Somalia in line with the Federal Government of Somalia’s governance plan.
Develop transparent and accountable administrative and financial systems to enable the institutionalization and decentralization
Design budgeting and procurement policies and procedures;
Support MoI in reporting (substantive and financial) against departmental workplans.
Ensure effective institutionalizing of office administration and finance systems.
Provide support and onthe
job training to the administration department to ensure appropriate handling and filing of all
documents of relevance to MOI operations.
University Degree in Finance and Accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in Finance & Administration is required.
Proven experience in capacity development and implementation.
Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc).
Fluency in written and spoken Somali and English.
